OUR LEADERSHIP

Inspiring a community to thrive

Introducing Sally Davis, Executive Head of School

Sally Davis brings outstanding leadership experience, warmth and vision to Clare House School. Before joining us, Sally spent 33 years at Howell’s School, Llandaff — one of Wales’ most respected independent schools — including 17 years as its Head of School.

Sally is known for her belief that every child deserves to feel valued, inspired and capable of achieving more than they imagined. Her leadership is grounded in strong relationships, deep care for community and a commitment to creating schools where children love coming to learn.

Families quickly feel her gift for connection. Staff trust her clarity and direction. Children feel her genuine interest in who they are and who they can become.

“I know what truly transforms a child’s experience: excellent teaching, strong relationships and a community that believes in them. Clare House School will offer all three from day one.”

OUR CAMPUS

An inspiring place for your child to thrive

Set within 11 acres, our campus gives your child the freedom to explore, discover and grow with confidence. Just a short walk from the beach and surrounded by the historic charm of Newton village, it is a place where learning extends far beyond the classroom.

Inside, thoughtfully refurbished buildings blend original character with modern facilities. Every space is bright, purposeful and designed to spark curiosity. As a Forest and Beach School, our natural environment becomes the third teacher — enriching academic learning, strengthening wellbeing, and building a genuine connection with the world around us

11 Acres of
grounds

Space to explore, run, discover and be curious outdoors every day.

Minutes from the beach

Porthcawl’s coastline is part of our learning environment, not just our backdrop.

Dedicated spaces for every age

Thoughtfully designed areas for Early Years and Prep, built around how children learn best.
